Dr. Suharto Honggokusumo

Dr. Suharto Honggokusumo is the Secretary-General of Rubber Association of Indonesia. Previously, he was entrusted with the responsibilities to hold few positions; UDINO Project Leader, Chairman of IRSG from 1997 to 1999, Chairman of Indonesia Polymer Association from 1998 to 2000, Executive Director of Indonesia Rubber Producers Association (Gapkindo) from 2000 to 2011,  and Member of Board of Indonesian Rubber Commission from 2005 to 2007. Dr. Suharto graduated as a chemist in 1973 from Bandung Institute of Technology and later immediately joined the Bogor Research Institute for Estate Crops. He was later assigned to continue his graduate study at the University of Aston in Birmingham, UK and obtained MSc in Chemistry of Polymer and continued for doctoral study at the same university and received his PhD under the principle of Chemistry and Technology of Polymer.
